Thieaudio Monarch MKIII
Universal Summary
The Monarch MKIII kept ThieAudio's kilobuck crown relevant: a $999 tribrid whose consensus reputation is built on exceptional spatial imaging and superbly textured, balanced delivery. Headfonics rates it an excellent multi-driver IEM with power, clear vocals, and very resolving staging; MajorHiFi hears the series' best refinement yet, with placement more concise than any prior Monarch and one of the best thousand-dollar packages overall: comfort, design, and stock cable included. The debates that follow it: the MKII remains on sale at the same price with a different (warmer) signature, unit fit is large-ish, and the energetic top end rewards clean sources.
