Juzear and KOTO launch the Nebula, a $129.99 five-driver hybrid
The collaboration puts a dynamic driver, three balanced armatures and a micro-planar behind a four-way physical crossover at $129.99, tuned for vocals.

Juzear and KOTO have launched the Nebula at $129.99, a five-driver hybrid using one dynamic driver with a multi-layer amorphous carbon composite diaphragm, three balanced armatures and a micro-planar, split by a four-way physical crossover. It is rated at 32 ohms and 110 dB, weighs 6.1 g per side, and ships with a silver-plated OCC cable carrying interchangeable 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm plugs.
A four-way crossover in a $130 in-ear is an ambitious piece of engineering, and it is exactly the kind of design where a frequency response is more informative than a driver list. The handovers are where hybrids come apart, and no amount of driver count compensates for a discontinuity through the presence region.
