ULTRASONE puts a 45 mm graphene driver in the open-back Signature AERO
AERO is the open-back of ULTRASONE's five-product July premiere, built on a 45 mm graphene diaphragm and sold on soundstage, with pricing still unannounced.
The Signature AERO is the open-back design among the four headphones and one USB DAC ULTRASONE premiered on 2 July 2026. It uses a 45 mm graphene-diaphragm driver, and the company presents it on the strength of its soundstage. Pricing was not published with the announcement; shipping is stated for September 2026, alongside the rest of the launch.
Graphene appears often enough in driver marketing that the material alone tells a buyer very little. What an open back reliably changes is measurable and worth waiting for: less bass reinforcement below the seal's usual support, and a response that varies much less with fit than a closed design does. An unannounced price also leaves the only comparison that matters unresolved.
