FiiO enters gaming with the FG3, a $69.99 wired headset with onboard DSP
FiiO's first gaming headset uses coaxial 50 mm and 16 mm dynamic drivers with a dual-core DSP, a 192 kHz DAC and a browser-based 10-band EQ, at $69.99.

FiiO has launched the FG3 at $69.99, its first dedicated gaming headset. The wired design uses a coaxial dual-driver arrangement, a 50 mm driver for the lows and mids and a 16 mm titanium-plated driver above, behind a dual-core DSP and an integrated DAC rated to 24-bit/192 kHz. Virtual 7.1 modes, a detachable noise-cancelling microphone and a browser-based 10-band EQ come with it, across Windows, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch 2.
Coaxial two-way drivers in a headphone are uncommon, and they raise the same question a two-way loudspeaker does: where the handover sits and what it does to the response through the vocal range. The browser-based EQ is the more quietly useful feature, because it means the tuning is not fixed at whatever the factory chose.
